SALSA is a food safety approval scheme which is recognised by many of the UK’s major retailers and supermarkets and is used as an entry level approval which allows SME’s (Small and Medium Sized businesses) supply into large companies on a regional basis.

This initiative has been responsible for the introduction of local products into supermarkets, providing regional suppliers with a growing market and also reducing the Carbon Footprint of the food we eat.

Food Fix employ SALSA approved Mentors and Auditors that have specific and detailed training of the SALSA scheme, and also experience of conducting SALSA audits.
